Timewarp.jpg

Third Quarter Extravaganza!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to 3rd Quarter!  During these nine weeks, History and English students will be working toward a personalized understanding of the period between 1800 and 1920.  It is of vital importance that students keep up with the scheduled checkpoints outlined in the weekly schedule.

As the teacher, I will:
  • hold individual conferences with students at least once a week
  • provide resources to assist in the research process
  • be available during lunches, all study halls and before/after school (by appointment)
  • provide timely feedback on formative assignments
  • allow collaboration as a way for students to share strategies and information

As students, I expect you to:
  • come to class prepared
  • use class time wisely to maximize productivity
  • meet weekly goals
  • ask questions when they arise to minimize time spent "drifting"
  • make your resources available to classmates during periods of cooperative learning
